Agnes M. Matecki, 88, passed awayThursday, December 15, 2011 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, FL. Mrs. Matecki was born in Paisley, Scotland and at the age of three came with her family to Kearney, NJ. She moved to Stuart twenty four years ago from Seaside Park, NJ.

She served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, FL and past president of the Cedar Pointe Womens Club.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Michael Matecki of Stuart, FL; sons Richard Matecki of Bristol, PA and Michael Matecki of Toms River, NJ;
one daughter Diane Matecki of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Barbara Matecki.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00PM on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, 950 S.E. Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34994. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, December 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 E. 10th Street, Stuart, FL 34996
