Albert A. Molinari has joined his wife, Mary Grace Molinari in heaven. He passed away on August 17, 202.
Al was born on April 24, 1921 to Jenny and August Molinari in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Barringer High School. Following graduation he joined the Army. Before being shipped overseas he spent two years on a base in Newfoundland. During this time in the Army, he spent time in North Africa, Italy and Finally Normandy.
Al received several medals during his years of service, including a Purple Heart, the American Defense Medal and the European/African Middle Eastern Service Medal.
Al and Mary, through a matchmaking Aunt, met in Brooklyn, NY, fell in love and were married after he returned from overseas on August 12, 1945.
Al and Mary lived and raised their four children in West Orange, New Jersey. Following all graduations and a successful career in real estate, they moved to Point Pleasant, New Jersey to enjoy the second love of his life, his Chris Craft, Tranquility. Finally in 1986, they moved to Jensen Beach, Florida.
Al's service to his country continued into his 90s. He received the presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of volunteer work with the Martin County Sheriff's Department.
When he wasn't volunteering, he spent his time making many beautiful pieces of stained glass which are enjoyed by his family and friends.
They had a long and happy marriage of almost 74 years. They are predeceased by their daughter Mary Grace (2013) and Albert Jr. (2017). They leave behind Barbara McKee who resides in Georgia; June Molinari Sanzari of Jensen Beach; 3 grandsons and 3 great grandsons.
