Albert B. Szabo, Jr., age 74 of Stuart, FL passed away at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 surrounded by his family. Albert was born December 1, 1938 in Queens, NY to the late Albert Sr. and Helen (Eichacker) Szabo. After graduation from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with his Bachelor's Degree, he served his country in the United States Army. He then went on to revolutionize the electroplating industry and served as the President and CEO of the Queen's Plating Company for over 50 years. In that time he did several projects for companies such as IBM, Bulova Watch and the U.S. Government. Albert and his wife, Kirsten started wintering in Florida in 1986, moving here full time 5 years ago. In his spare time he enjoyed tennis and golf, along with football and sailing. He was also a lifetime member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Kirsten (Swendsen) Szabo of Stuart, FL; daughter, Kristina (Timothy) Freeman of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Davis, Whitney and Hadley Freeman . Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
