Obituary

Alda Ann Line forever formed our lives through her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She transitioned on September 1, 2021 after her two and a half year journey with Glioblastoma Multiforme. During her illness, she demonstrated immeasurable love, understanding, fortitude, and faith, and she always regained her peace. As she wished, she passed in the home she shared with her husband Gary, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by filling their lives with infinite love and gratitude.

She was born to Joseph and Anna (Andreozzi) Falco on December 18, 1959 in Cranston, Rhode Island. She married her husband Gary Line in Miami, Florida on February 19, 1983, and together, in Hobe Sound, Fl, they raised their 4 children: Abby (Ryan), Annie (Bryan), Shelby (Emilio), and Zachary (Jessica), and they were later blessed when (step) son Jacob Lyons (Sherrie) entered their lives. Alda is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren: Jaxson, Elliot, Samuel, Katelyn, and Alyssa, and --soon-- great grandchild McKinley Grace; as well as her brothers: Joseph (Dia), Rocco, and Anthony (Sandra); sisters: Anna Marie (Sandy), Linda, Janice, Kay, Randy, and Terry; and 19 nieces and nephews along with their families. She is also survived by her Winn Dixie family and friends whom she worked alongside throughout the last 30 years. She is predeceased by her mother, father, and brothers:  Johnny, Teddy, Paul, and Michael.

Alda is known to her family and friends as a spiritual soul and one with nature; a devout chocolate lover and tea drinker; a philosopher of life and crystal connoisseur; a star-gazer and lover of the moon, an accomplished poet and artist; and an avid reader and nap queen. In the grief of her passing, we will return to peace and keep her legacy alive as we see her in every rainbow, cherish her every memory, and honor her through every act of love.

Donations may be made in Alda's memory to your local botanical garden, the Florida Oceanographic Society, or the Audubon Society of Martin County.
