Aleksander Matysek, 92, of Stuart, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, August, 19, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Born in Poland, he had been a resident of Stuart since 2002, coming from Orland Park, Illinois.
He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the Polish Army.
Aleksander was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-six years, Eugenia Matysek, who passed away in 2006.
Survivors include his daughter, Rosemarie Mason, of Stuart; his son, Donald A. Matysek, of Frankfort, Illinois; two grandchildren, Tara Syska, and her husband, Tom, of Palos Heights, Illinois, and DJ Matysek, of Orland Park; and one great-grandson, Thomas Syska, of Palos Heights, Illinois. He is also survived by his family members in Poland and New Jersey.
A Service to Celebrate his Life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Stuart Moose Lodge, 2454 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
