Alfred J. Leotta, 85, of High Point in Fort Pierce, Florida, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Emerald Healthcare in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Born in New York City, New York, he had been a resident of Fort Pierce for twenty-seven years, coming from his birthplace.
He honorably served his Country as a Member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Prior to his retirement he was a Registered Pharmacist in the states of New York and Florida working for the Rite-Aid Pharmacy on South Hutchinson; that Pharmacy is now the CVS Health.
Al was parishioner at Saint Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, and was active with the PBA of the community.
Survivors include his good friends, Steven DiPalma of Fort Pierce, and Irma Caravello, of Stuart; and his Godson, John Lizzio, and his wife, Karen, and their family of Monroe Township, New Jersey.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 10:00 am at Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Avenue, Fort Pierce.
Interment with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2:15 pm at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Road #7, Lake Worth, Florida.
