IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alice Mary
Donohue Albin
January 7, 1936 – July 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of a remarkable woman, Alice Mary Donohue Albin. Alice was born on January 7, 1936, in Queens New York and departing peacefully in Stuart Florida on July 1, 2025.
Growing up in the close-knit communities of Lynbrook and Rockville Centre on Long Island, she cultivated a love for storytelling and humor that would become her hallmark. Her childhood was spent with extended family of Irish heritage that shaped the spirited and fun-loving woman she became.
With her first marriage to Patrick Traynor, she made her home in Lindenhurst, New York for 20 years, where she raised her first 4 children, Kelly Domsky, Patrick Traynor, Beth Bowden and Molly Hileman. After marrying Theodore Albin and giving birth to twins, Ted Albin and Erin Foley, Alice made a new home in Jensen Beach in 1978 and wholeheartedly embraced Florida living.
Above all, she was a devoted mother of six, but Alice was a hard worker outside the home also. She enjoyed working in hospitality and as a caregiver. Meeting new people and sharing stories was her passion. At home she loved to cook and share holidays and special occasions with family and friends.
In addition to her children, Alice is survived by her Sister, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
The family is grateful for the compassionate caregivers that came to the Home, Treasure Coast Hospice and the Solaris Nursing team.
May her memory be a blessing, and her stories continue to inspire laughter and love .
Her family will hold a private celebration.
