Alice A Honiker, 71, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Martin Health System South in Stuart.

Born in Mount Vernon, New York, she had been a resident of Stuart for seven years, coming from Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Prior to her retirement Alice was an Operating Room Technician at Hillcrest Hospital for thirty-nine years, with four years at Crane Center at Berkshire Medical Center, both in Pittsfield.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, John R. Honiker of Stuart; one son, Mark Richard Honiker of Stuart; one daughter, Kellie Jean Honiker of Pittsfield; her sister, Duella E. Farrell, of Stuart; five grandchildren, Mark Richard Honiker of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Paul Honiker of Lakeland, Florida, Eric Daniel Honiker of Pittsfield, Clerissa Renee Honiker of Lakeland, and Shelby Marie Honiker of Pittsfield; four great-grandchildren, Jackson David Honiker of Lakeland, Callie Nicole Norman of Lakeland, Landon David Honiker of Pittsfield, and Madison Catherine Johnson of Pittsfield; and her beloved dog, Major.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Honiker and her brother, Robert M. Ferry.

A Celebration of Alice's life will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida.
