Alice M. Stiffen, 84, of Stuart, Florida, died peacefully Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home.
Born in Albany, New York, she had been a resident of Stuart, for fifteen years, coming from her birthplace.
Alice was a member of the Stuart Y.M.C.A. on Monterey Road, in Stuart. She had a good time everywhere she went, and saw only the good in everything and everyone.
A loving wife, and mother, she is survived by her beloved husband, George "Joe" Stiffen, of Stuart; two sons, Rodney Whitbeck, of Edinburg, New York, and Anthony Whitbeck, of Guilderland, New York; two daughters, Donna Warden, of Stuart, and Kelly Zuppke of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services and Interment will private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart.
In lieu of flowere, the family is requesting donations be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
