Amato Polselli, 93, after living a long happy and healthy life, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in the town of Stuart, Florida.

Amato was born on December 17, 1927, in Arce, Italy, to Enrico Polselli and Maria (Marzilli) Polselli.

He was a wonderful husband to Maria Piselli with whom he married on January 6, 1955 in Italy. In addition to enjoying time with his family, Amato enjoyed gardening, and always found time to deliver tomatoes to dear friends on his walks around the neighborhood. After his move to Florida, Amato still enjoyed visiting his neighbors and would ride his 3-wheel bike twice a day stopping to chat with his friends.

Amato is preceded in death by Maria (Piselli) Polselli and Rita Polselli.

Amato was a loving Father to his children and a beloved Nonno to his grandchildren. He is survived by Riccardo Polselli and Donna Polselli, Pina (Polselli) Michalowski and Christian Michalowski, Lisa (Polselli) Correia and Thomas Correia, Julia (Polselli) Snyder and Benjamin Snyder, Joshua Correia, Melissa Polselli, Eric Polselli, Ashley Snyder, April Snyder, Grace Michalowski, and Connor Michalowski.

Memorial services will be held at 12:30 pm, Monday, August 30, 2021 at Saint Rose of Lima Parish, 35 Center St, Meriden, Connecticut 06450.
