Obituary

Amelia Ann Hart Baldwin was born in Caney, Arkansas, on August 28, 1933, to Leonard Franklin Hart & Pearl Cottingham Hart.

She spent her childhood years in Caney and Prescott, Arkansas. When she was 8 years old, her beloved brother, James Leonard, joined their family. Her love and affection for him were truly lifelong. In 1950, at the age of 16, Ann graduated from Prescott High School. She was an honors student at Southern Nazarene University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Literature.

In 1952, she married Frank Forrest Baldwin, and together they had four children: Rebecca (Richard) Hoffpauir, Frank (Anna Hicks) Baldwin, Keren (Jerry) Wheeler, and Joan (Brent) Hoffpauir.

She is survived by her brother Jim Hart (Vara), her children, William Snyder, and 11 grandchildren - Frank Baldwin III (Heather), Brian Baldwin (Keila), Bethany Moore (Nathan), Louis Hoffpauir (Kalysa), Edward Hoffpauir, Heather Ballard (David), Brad Hoffpauir (Darlene), and Blake Hoffpauir (Miranda), David Snyder (Amanda), John Snyder, Laura Mchugh (Micah). Her heart delighted in 20 dearly loved great-grandchildren.

Ann joined her husband, Frank, in ministry, and together they pastored churches in Louisiana, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Illinois, Iowa, and Ohio, and participated in the organization of over 40 churches across the Midwest. In 2000, Ann and Frank retired to South Florida. Throughout her life, Ann's music ministry defined her and was far-reaching. It was through music and public speaking that she expressed the deepest foundations of her faith. Ann produced 14 recording projects and ministered in venues across the United States and abroad. More than anything, Ann was a true friend to all who knew her. She was authentic and intentionally invested in the lives of both young and old. Not only her children, but all who knew her, rise and call her blessed. Though she has transitioned from this life to LIFE, she remains a
living presence to those who knew and loved her
