It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of my mom, Anna (Mete) Guarnieri, born March 12,1936. She passed away suddenly & peacefully at home Friday, April 11,2025.

She was a loving mom and grandmother who will be missed by all her family & friends. Anna was a happy person who will be remembered for her positivity & beautiful smile.

Anna leaves behind her loving husband of 68 years, Carmine Guarnieri. She is also survived by her children, daughter Roseann Guarnieri Hoffman, (Wilson "chip"), Lawrence (Larry) Guarnieri, Carmine Guarnieri Jr, Matthew Guarnieri and her sister Mary (Mete) Paladino. Also, three step-grandchildren Dustin (Marial), Hoffman, Carol Hoffman Smallwood (Gayland), Dawn Hoffman and several great grandchildren.  Anna also had great affection for her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anna is predeceased by both her parents Salvatore Mete and Philomena (Cioffi) Altieri Mete. Three brothers, Anthony, Nicholas, and Salvatore Mete.

Family was everything to her. Anna & Carmine retired to Florida after raising their family in Norwalk, CT. She will be missed for her delicious baking and regular entertaining. Her door was always open. Special thank you to their dear friends that mom considered to be family, Tom & Pat Donohoe.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, Stuart.
