Anna Thorsen Miner, 90 of Stuart, Florida passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.

Born November 20, 1928 in Norway, she was the daughter of Andreas and Nelly Svindland.  Anna moved to the United States in 1950 and in 1990 she moved to Stuart, Florida coming from Brooklyn, New York.

She was involved with the Salvation Army and First United Methodist Church of Stuart, working in the soup kitchen for years.  Anna was also a member of Sons of Norway.

Survivors include her sons, Ernst Enga Thorsen, Brynjulf John Thorsen, Harald Andreas Thorsen; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harald Thorsen and Patrick J. Miner.

Services will be in Norway.
