Anthony (Tony) Orlando

October 31, 1928 - April 11, 2018

Tony Orlando passed away at age 89 surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and was one of 16 children born to Vincent and Sarah (Pallazola) Orlando.

Tony lived in Gloucester until 2003 when he and wife Josie retired to Florida. His working life was spent in the fish business. The rest of his life was spent enjoying time with his grandchildren, vacationing, and being a devoted minister of Jehovah God.

He is survived by his loving wife Josie Orlando with whom he spent 67 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children Vincent and wife Sheila (Roberts), Steven, Michael and companion Sharon Sheppard, Joanne and husband John Christopher. Tony was very proud of his grandchildren Ryan Orlando and wife Julia (Stevenson), Evan Orlando and companion Ashley Smith, Jessie Jillson and husband Ben, Cameron Christopher, and Lydia Christopher. His two great grandchildren are Lilah Jillson and Alexander Vincent Orlando. Tony's living sisters are Nancy Kinghorn and Nina Favazza. He was predeceased by his son Anthony (Flounda) Orlando.

A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Salerno, Florida.

His family would like to extend a great thank you to the friends of his congregation who spent many hours visiting and sharing memories.
