Anthony J. Rose, 94, of Stuart, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Martin Nursing and Restorative Care Center in Stuart.

Born in Reading, Massachusetts, he had been a resident of Stuart for two years, coming from Wilmington, Massachusetts.

He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, proudly serving in Newfoundland where he tracked German U-boats.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than fifty years, Juanita Rose.

Surviving is his loving family of two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
