"Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the end of the day.

Anthony (Tony) Theobald, 70 of Port Saint Lucie, FL and formerly of Midland, MI, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart. He fought a long courageous battle with lung cancer. He leaves his wife, Beverly; daughter Kim Theobald; and mother Miriam Theobald. Stepchildren; David Himebauch, Alicia Martin and Stephanie Edmondson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
