On 11/25/20 at 9:35 am Anthony Dennis Vorias Sr.passed away peacefully with his loving wife, his two children and his brother by his side.  He was 77 years old.   He was the son of the late Aristides Vorias of Chios, Greece and Margaret Angelina Giliberto of Augusta, Sicily.  Born in Malden, Massachusetts, and raised in Revere, Anthony later attended Saint John's Preparatory School, Class of 1961 and Boston College Class of 1965.  He received a commission as an Ensign in the US Navy in 1966 and earned his flight wings in 1966.  He married Carol Ann Pedroni of Arlington, Massachusetts in September of 1966.

He served two combat tours in Vietnam, 1966-67 and 1968-69, flying as a RIO (radar intercept officer) in F-4 Phantoms from the deck of the carrier USS Enterprise.  His squadron was VF-92, the Silver kings. He attained the rank of Lieutenant before leaving the Navy.

He returned to Massachusetts in 1976, where he and his brother Richard Vorias started a welding and fabrication business specializing in plastics extrusion.  This would later develop into Flametech Technologies Corporation based out of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Anthony retired to Stuart, Florida in his later years and became an avid golfer.   Anthony and his wife Carol first met at 16 years of age and were together for 60 years.  They enjoyed 54 wonderful years of marriage at each others side.

Anthony is survived by his wife Carol Ann, his son Anthony Vorias Jr., of Rockport, Massachusetts, his daughter Khristin Lambert of Norwell, Massachusetts, his brother Richard Vorias and his wife Patricia of Stuart, Florida; his niece Lena Ricci of Boxford; his nephew Richard Ryan Vorias of Stuart, Florida; brother-in-law, David Pedroni of Carlsbad, Califdornia; his cousin Marie McGowan of San Diego, California and seven grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Jayce, Joshua, Karli Wyatt and Ty.

Services will be private.
