Archimedo D. "Archie" Massei, 87, of Jensen Beach, Florida and Trenton, New Jersey, left his family and friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 and retired to Heaven. Twenty five years ago he retired from his company, MGM Construction and moved to Florida. Archie was a charismatic, charming, and caring individual who was loved by all who knew him.

He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends by sharing his homemade wine and breaking bread with them. If you said the name "Archie", everyone knew who you were talking about. His personality and charm were that unique. He made wine with his friends for over 40 years and later adapted to Facebook where he could communicate with his family in Canada, Italy, and Argentina.

Archie started his work career in his teens working as an upholster, then entered the construction industry and eventually formed MGM Construction with Frank Gray and his brother, Paul. Archie and his companies were an instrumental force in the development of many Hamilton Township, New Jersey communities and personally developed Holiday Park off Arena Drive and Hanover Hills. He loved the beach, fishing, and was a semi-pro bowler, a Trustee for Ironworkers Local 68 and President of his Homeowners Association. In his 42 year professional career, he built or renovated houses, schools, hospitals, firehouses, prisons, and commercial building from concept to completion. His last projects before retiring included renovation of the New Jersey State House and Governor's Mansion and building a Catholic Church.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents Paolo Massei, Sr. and Maria Iezzi Massei, his sister Angelina Massei and brothers Antonio Massei and Paul Massei.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Mate Massei and children Paul S. Massei, Jo Ann Massei, Karen Mydlowski (Dave), Arthur Massei, Robert Massei (Lisa), Clare Eisler (Dave), his grand children Joshua Massei and Evan and Joseph Mydlowski, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers or donations, his family wish that you share a meal with your family and friends. Toast Archie (Salute) with a glass of wine, and continue to love and appreciate your family. Salute!
