Arlene Marie Lamb Girard, 78, of Jupiter, Florida, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born July 22, 1935, in Brookfield, New York, she had been a Jupiter resident for 48 years, coming from Tolland, Connecticut.
A homemaker and mother, she is survived by her love of the past 24 years, Roy Aubin of Jupiter; her 4 children, Deborah Raymer of Beloit, Kansas, Wayne Girard of Jupiter, Theresa Gomez of Stuart, and Edward Girard of Maitland; 2 brothers, Bruce Lamb of Branford, New York, and Dale Lamb of Red Creek, New York; 4 sisters, Cora Miller of Unadilla, New York, Audrey Freeman of Baldwinsville, New York, Polly Chabot of Unadilla, New York, and Helen Guicastro of Newington, Connecticut; 10 grandchildren, Edward and Eliana Girard, Renee and Stephanie Raymer, Jonathan and Christian Girard, Sarah and Raymond Nicholas, and Sean and Melissa Gomez.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Walter Roland Girard; her son, Arthur Girard; her sisters, Anna Larkin, Elizabeth Prenis, Joan Lamb, and Irene Barnes; and her brothers, John and Charles Lamb.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 204 North US Highway #1, Tequesta, Florida 33469 (561-746-7974).
Contributions as a Memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
