Arthur C. Dunham, Jr. "Buddy", of Hobe Sound, Florida, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on June 12, 2015. Born on November 30, 1954 in Middletown, Connecticut, he was raised in Meriden, Connecticut, prior to relocating to Florida in 2004.
He served in the United States Army from 1973-75.
He worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for forty-two years, both in Connecticut and Florida, as a Operations Manager with strong leadership skills.
Buddy was a proud member of the Stuart Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG).
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, also enjoyed boating, playing the guitar, and motorcycling.
He was a member of Saint Christopher Catholic Church in Hobe Sound.
He is survived by loving wife of thirty-seven years, Carmen; his sons, David Dunham, and his wife, Laura, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and Steven Dunham, and his wife, Natalie, of Granby, Connecticut; and his beloved grandchildren, Jalyssa, Jordan, Jaiden, Bianca, and Giuliana.
Also survived by three sisters, Linda Nigro, and her husband, Dominic, Karen Ruske, and her husband, Matt, and Grace Markiewicz, and her husband, Walter; two brothers, Jeffrey Dunham, and his wife, Mary, and Harold Dunham; two brothers-in-law, Benny Gonzalez, and his wife, Shirley, and Hector Gonzalez, and his partner, John Bizzack ; one sister-in-law, Brunilda Uhlman, and her husband, Scott; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jeane Dunham.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4-6 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where a Prayer Service will take place at 5:30 pm, followed by Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard.
