Arthur G. Ritter, 80, of Spanish Lakes Golf Village in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Manhattan, New York, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for fifteen years coming from New York State.
Prior to his retirement he was the Manager of several Catholic Diocesan Cemeteries in New York.
Art was a member of the Elks Lodge #1870 in Stuart, and also the Moose Lodge #513 in Port Saint Lucie.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Joan L. Leasure , of Port Saint Lucie; two sons, Wesley Mitchell of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Tyler Mitchell, of Saint Peters, Missouri; and two daughters, Marcie Jones, of Birmingham, Alabama, and Tamy Collins, of Bethalto, Illinois.
Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart.
