Audrey Fischer Hayes, 84, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Monday October 10, 2016 at Emerald Healthcare in Port Saint Lucie.

Born in New York City, New York, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 1974 coming from Melville, Long Island, New York.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, working in their Business Office. She also volunteered at the Heathcoate Botanical Gardens in Fort Pierce.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of nineteen years, John Hayes, who passed away in 2003 and her first husband of twenty-five years, John Riley, who passed away in 1981.

She is survived by her daughter, Susanne Riley Dann and her husband, Roy of Altamonte Springs, Florida; her son, John Riley of Port Saint Lucie; two grandchildren, Allyson Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Kristen Dann of Altamonte Springs; and one great-grandson, Jeremiah Dann of Altamonte Springs.
She is also survived by her three step-children who she considered her children also Richard Hayes, Lynn King, and Karen (Bill) Neese. She had eight step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren, again, who she considered her own.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Saint Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983.
