Barbara Matthews Baird, 60, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on March 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in New York City, New York on November 4, 1956.

Barb loved to travel, fish and camping. Her greatest passion was her family, she enjoyed helping others, she worked as a caregiver for over 30 years. Her main goal in life was to help others, she loved to debate politics. Barb used her skills on social media.

Mrs. Baird is survived by her mother; Angie Matthews, brothers Edward Matthews Jr., Robert Matthews and Scott Matthews, A sister; Karen Chite. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Richard Baird and her father Edward Matthews Sr.
