Barbara I. Calvey, 78, of Stuart, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on August 29, 2014.

She was born in West Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George and Nellie Roberts Glidden.

Barbara was employed at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Stuart at the time of her death

She was preceded in death by her husband, James P Calvey , brothers, Robert, Bernard, Richard and George Glidden , sister, Dorothy Garnett, infant grandson, Sean Herbst, nephews, Ronald Garnett, Gaylord Wargo, and niece, Patricia Garnett.

Surviving are her children, Edward Zahorak (Alexis) of Port Jervis, New York, Amber Blight (Karl) of Plains, Pennsylvania, and Adell Lawrence (Donald) of Mayfield, Pennsylvania, and Aimee Cooper with whom she resided; brother, Gordon Glidden of Ashley, Pennsylvania; sisters, Lorraine Wargo of Dallas, Pennsylvania, Mary Lou Fedak (Paul) of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, and Ruth Hummel (Harvey) of Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren(including Hailey Kislinger and Shanna Cooper with whom she lived), thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Service to Celebrate her Life will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2-4 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994.
