Barbara A. Danielski, age 64 of Hobe Sound died on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hay Madeira House in Stuart, FL with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Barb was born May 26, 1949 in Lyons, New York, daughter of the late James and Helen (Kaczynski) Adams. She lived in Florida most of her life and obtained her A.A., B.A., M.A. and Specialist degrees. Barb traveled extensively fulfilling her dream of seeing the "lower 48" and Alaska. She worked at several industries and organizations until finally running her own consulting firm. She also sat on the boards of many local businesses. Barb was a professor at Barry University in Palm Beach Gardens and was also an Elder at her local church. Her two sons were the loves of her life and much of her travel was with them. She was so proud of the fine young men they have become. Surviving are her sons, Scott Danielski of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Chris Danielski of Orlando, FL; her sister, Susan (Peter) Nye of Albany, NY; 2 nephews; many special friends and her devoted dog, Tasha. Family will greet friends on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, Garden Chapel (950 SE Monterey Rd; Stuart, FL 34994), where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. In honor of Barb's wishes, the family requests you to wear casual, bright and cheery colors to her celebration of life. The family would like to express their gratitude towards the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice for the compassion and support they provided to Barb and her family.
