Barbara Lynne Dodson, 73, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.

Born January 9, 1943 in Elizabeth, NJ, she moved to Port St. Lucie in 2003 coming from Miami.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Taking care of her family and their home brought her the greatest joy. She was happiest when her family was gathered together.

Barbara was a Christian and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City with her daughter.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, L. D. Dodson of Port St. Lucie; loving daughters, Kimberley Hubbard (Tripp) and Beverley Bates (Chris); cherished grandchildren, Robert, Thomas, Daniel and Jaclyn Hubbard; Krista Chandler, Kyle Grow (Lindsey) and Grace Bates; great grandchildren, Cameron Hubbard, Annabel Chandler and Cooper Chandler; sisters, Beverley Sulzberger (Gene) and Patricia Kyle; brother, Ed Leonard (Connie); nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City.
