Barbara Feist, 62, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she had been a resident of Florida for 34 years.

She honorably served her country as a member of the United States Army.

Barbara is survived by her brother, George Feist and his wife, Mary; her sister, Marlene Davis and her husband Mike; and nieces, Debbie Sawyer, and her husband Brian, Carla Tomka and her husband Andy, and Sarah Frantz and her husband Kory; and her nephew, Benjamin Davis.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, George, and mother, Tillie.

Visitation and Reception will be held from 4-6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where Military Honors will be presented by the United States Army Military Honor Guard and will commence at 6:30 pm.  A Prayer Service will begin at 6:45 pm by Chaplain L.C. Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to the Humane Society of Treasure Coast, 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue, Palm City, Florida 34990 or to the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation., 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.

The family of Barbara Feist wishes to thank the staff at Treasure Coast Hospice Hay-Madeira House, and the countless friends and co-workers who have supported her during her illness.
