Barbara Ann Wayt ,71 Jensen Beach Fl passed away on Saturday August 13, 2022.
Ruby and Lewis Moldovan were parents to "Barbie" who was born on July 9, 1951 in Storm Lake, Iowa where she was raised with her siblings Darlene, Linda, Lewie, Mary and Clifford.
She graduated Storm Lake High School in 1970 and was also married to her teenage sweetheart David S. Wayt.. They had a love of rock n roll, free spirit, and three daughters Lesley, Holly, and Heidy.
Barb and Dave later seperated in 1986 but still were very active raising their children.
Barb had a great love of plants and flowers and planted the biggest gardens in the Iowa dirt to feed her family. She also spent some of her years working at Joyces Greenery in Storm Lake, Ia helping seed and cultivating beautiful grows.
Barb had different jobs through out the years but her biggest job was being a mother.
Three teenage girls was quite a feat, but did a darn good job wrangling them.
Her other biggest joys were her grandchildren Gavin, Peyton, Tristian, Connor, Landon, and Luke.
Barb retired in 2012 and took the leap to go to Florida with her family where she got to enjoy many blissful years. where she no longer had to scoop snow. Many great memories are sitting in a chair by the ocean, she actually got on a paddle board!
Obtaining her own place that she thoroughly enjoyed and even grew a large cherry tomatoe on her patio!!
Taking her morning walks. Visiting with her neighbors. Coming to the pool with all of us. Watching the news and
Dr.Ph
il. Eatting banana bread and her yogurt. Enjoy special christmas candy sent from Iowa family especially the fudge. Always coming to family gatherings, birthdays and holidays. Her grandchildren were her world and the apples of her eyes. Talking with her sister Darlene. Spending time at each daughters house and always on the phone with all of us everyday touching base about our daily lives with the good and the bad.. Always told us how it was and what we needed to do! Very opinionated and sure of herself!
She was very happy and content and we all kept her very busy!
We will always cherish the memories from when we were kids and how she could cook up a storm! Big suppers as she would call them, Roasts were her biggest hit and also stuffed green peppers and squash with butter and brown sugar and always a glass of milk!
Some of her past times where drinking a cold beer and enjoying the company of her best friend Molly Jorgensen. Boy, they sure always had a great time listening to music, laughing with each other and supporting one another for many many years.
Barbara Ann will be greatly missed by all the knew her. She was a beautiful soul with the most caring heart and taught all of us how to love deeply and hard.
We will see you later Mom! And we know we now have the biggest guardian angel watching over us, you are now an angel up in the heavens as you were down here on earth.
Thank you for giving us life!
