Bartholomew Joseph "Bart" Hennessey Jr., 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2025 at his home.

Bart was born on April 22, 1944.  He was a Bronze Star recipient who served in the Vietnam War where he was attached to the United States Coast Guard.  He was a practicing attorney for the majority of his adult life.

Bart was an beloved, devoted and amazing, husband to his wife Denise.  He is survived by Denise; his daughters, Nicole and Shannon and his son Bartholomew III; his grandchildren, Ella, Bartholomew IV, Jeffrey and Charlie.  Bart was loved by his brother Jim, sister Harriet and David, Georgie and John and his sisters, Mattie, Lita and Phyllis in heaven; an awesome uncle to a whole gang of nieces and nephews and their many children.

Bart had a gift of giving you his undivided attention; as if you where the only person on earth.  The world lost a loving, kind, amazing man and he will be greatly missed.
