Obituary

Beatrice Tosado-Llopiz was born June 16, 1957 in Camuy, Puerto Rico. She moved to the mainland and Brooklyn, New York was her home until she moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Beatrice went to trade school, earned her diploma and started a career of serving others through her passion for customer service in retail for over 35 years. She worked at Home Depot in New York and transferred here to Florida. She then applied to assist in opening the Wal-Mart in Stuart Florida where she remained a staple employee to this community for over 15 years.

Beatrice had a love for dancing, reggaeton music, and any music that would get anyone up and dancing. Beatrice met her husband Wilfredo Llopiz in 1992 and they 'danced' together ever since.

Beatrice is survived immediately by her husband Wilfredo and her two sons: Jose Quinones and Jesus Quinones. She has three siblings Maria Tosado-Bentel, Luz Tosado-Punch, and Manuel Tosado of whom will deeply and ridiculously miss their sister.

More than a wife, mother, and sister; Beatrice dedicated her life to loving her extended family members: Her sister-in-law Carrie, Her brother-in-law Mark, Daughter-in-law Abigail (Jose's wife) and grandsons Ethan, Josiah, Achilles; and Romeo. She was also blessed to be a grandmother to Faith, Quincy, Beatrice, Patience, and Ava. Her 6 nieces: Denise Brodie, husband Jason, and great-nephews Mateo, Roman, and Liam will miss her pool party presence. Niece Ruby Mercado and husband Mario and great-niece baby Elena will miss their Tia Betty's face time calls. Her niece Debra George and husband Tony, great-niece Olivia, and great-nephew Roc will miss her Walmart hellos. Her niece Betsy Estrella, husband Jose Estrella, and babies Sebastian and Joaquin will always love their Tia's video calls. Niece Dayna Bentel, wife Sherri, great-niece Piper and great-nephew Jackson will miss their Tia as well. Niece Sylvia Tosado will hold special memories in her heart of our dear Tia Betty. Her great-nephews Victor and Alex Mendez along with their mother Teresa,  will miss Tia Betty; but find comfort in knowing she has some great company in heaven.

Beatrice meets her mother Carmen Regan, father Manuel Tosado, mother-in-law Socorra (Cookie), stepdad John Regan, and beloved nephew Victor Mendez in heaven.

Her love towards others is unmatched. Many say that she was always willing to, and on many occasions actually DID give the shirt off her own back to make sure others had what they needed. Her presence on earth will be missed; however her many family and friends find peace in the comfort of knowing she watches over us, smiles with us, and continues to dance for us from heaven.
