Betty G. Short, 67 of Indiantown, FL was called home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 01, 2016, at Jupiter Medical Center.
Born August 7, 1948 in Dighton, MA, she had been a Florida resident since 1972, coming from Massachusetts. She resided in Jupiter for 10 years moving to Indiantown three years ago.
She was a Registered Nurse and had worked at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach.
Betty attended art classes in Stuart and was also involved in local grief counseling groups.
Survivors include her son, Joel Short, and his wife, Thadra, of Indiantown, and granddaughter, Willow.
Predeceased by her husband of 45 years Ewart Short; mother, Geraldine (Collins) Hegeman; son, Adam Short and brother, Jesse Gasper.
