Betty Louise Buehler, 82, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida died Saturday, January 4, 2013, at the Sunny Days Assisted Living Facility in Port Saint Lucie.

Born in the Bronx, New York, she moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1965, coming from her birthplace, until moving to Port Saint Lucie in 1988.

She was a Patient Care Technician at the Hollywood Memorial Hospital in Hollywood, Florida from 1968 until 1988, when she began working for Martin Memorial Hospital, North, in Stuart, Florida, until retiring in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Charles L. Buehler, who died in 2006.

Survivors include her son, Scott Buehler, of Port Saint Lucie; and one daughter, Carla Vezina, of Davie, Florida.

A Graveside Service will be held Janury 21, 2014 at 11am at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road #7, Lake Worth, Florida 33449.
