Obituary

Betty D. Wilson passed away at her Stuart Home on Wednesday September 9, 2020.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 30, 1922. She lived most of her younger life in Trenton, NJ. After moving to
Florida in 1962, she had previously lived in Biscayne Park and Pembroke Pines.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walther H. Wilson and her beloved son Walter Gary
Wilson. She is survived by her loving sister Beverly Sisco, nephew Robert T. Sisco and his wife Becky, niece
Rebecca Sisco and nephew Harry Sisco, niece Sherry Mackey and her husband, Patrick, sister in law, Edith
Mobley and her husband Ed; grandnephew Matthew Blizzard, grandniece Ainsley and her family.

Betty grew up in Trenton NJ and attended Rider College in Trenton, NJ and also art school. She relocated to
Florida with her family after her husband had a severe leg injury and they were advised to move to a warmer
climate. She worked many years as the secretary to the Principal at Miami Shores Elementary School and she
was beloved by all of the staff and the students. Betty was a longtime member of Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church of Stuart. She loved her church and had been actively involved in many ministries. Betty was very thoughtful and loved to make ceramics for her
family and friends as writing inspiring and loving notes.

Betty will always be remembered by those who knew her for her smile that could light up a room, her gentle
heart and her beautiful, positive spirit.

A service is planned in mid November at Covenant Fellowship Church in Stuart.
