Beverly Ann Beall (nee Gordy) passed away on January 14, 2017 in Stuart, Florida surrounded by family and her loving companion Allen Durling. Mrs. Beall was a longtime resident of Stevenson, Maryland.

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 8, 1938 to the late Mabel and Avery Gordy.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Wade Allen Poole and her second husband Richard Olin Beall to whom she was married for 30 years.
She was also preceded in death by three loving sisters Lillian White, Dorothy Erdman, Patricia All and a brother Melvin Gordy.

Beverly is survived by one daughter, Laura Poole Mathiesen of Annapolis, Maryland, and two step-daughters, Margot Beall King of San Francisco, California and Charlotte Ashley Beall of Seattle, Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren Isabelle Cecilie Mathiesen (Ceci), Ian Wade Mathiesen, Olin Colhoun king and Charlotte Beall king and many loving nieces, nephews, god-children and friends.

Beverly retired from a distinguished career with the National Security Agency (NSA) and in later years enjoyed her work as a travel agent. She was a long standing member of Green Spring Valley Hunt Club where she enjoyed golfing and playing bridge with her many friends. Beverly was an avid world traveler who not only enjoyed the luxuries of world-class cruising but also hiking the jungles of Cambodia and Vietnam. Beverly was also a member of the Town and Country Garden Club and had a special love of orchids. Affectionally known as Bebe to her family, she enjoyed regular trips to the beach searching for sea glass, fishing, needlepointing, playing pinochle with her sisters and "walking the boards".

She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and will be missed beyond measure.

Per her wishes, Beverly will be cremated and no funeral service will be held. Cremation services have been handled by Treasure Coast * Seawinds Crematory of Stuart, Florida. Interment of her ashes will be private.
