Beverly Lee Lewis, 71, of Stuart passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Beverly was born June 20, 1944 in Johnson City, TN, she was one of three children born to Robert Edward and Margaret Rebecca Lee. She lived in Stuart during her childhood and graduated from Martin County High School, Class of 1962. She left the area to go to college and work, returning after her retirement in 2005.
Beverly received her Bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, TN; Master's and Ed S from Peabody College in Nashville. She retired as Mental Health Planning and Program Specialist for the State of Tennessee, Department of Mental Health after 40 years of employment.
Survivors include her brother, Dr. William B. Lee (wife, Jane) of Houston, TX; sister, Rebecca Lee Ingram (husband, Kent) of Knoxville, TN; three nephews and two nieces.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. W. W. Lewis; father, Rev. Robert E. Lee, a former pastor of the First Baptist Church and Pastor Emeritus of the North Stuart Baptist Church, both in Stuart and mother, Margaret Rebecca Lee.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 14th, 2016 at 11a.m. at the North Stuart Baptist Church, 1950 NW Federal Hwy., Stuart, FL 34994, Dr.. Doug Jewett will officiate.
