IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Joan
Thomas Sisco
April 5, 1928 – February 18, 2025
Beverly Joan Thomas Sisco, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 96, in Hobe Sound, Florida.
Born on April 5, 1928, in Trenton, New Jersey, Beverly led a life full of love, hard work, and community involvement, leaving behind a legacy
that will resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Beverly was born to Edwin and Mae Thomas, and from an early age, she displayed a warmth and kindness that would define her character throughout her life. She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1946 and soon after embarked on a journey that would lead her through various facets of life. In June 1949, she married the love of her life, Bernie Sisco and had 3 children, Dale, Sharon and Robert. Their beautiful union lasted for 53 years until Bernie's passing, and together they built a family and a life filled with memories. In 1969, Beverly and her family moved to Florida, where she embraced new opportunities with unwavering determination. She worked at the First National Bank, then earned her real estate license, and later became a vital part of her husband's excavating business. Beverly continued to be a hardworking and dedicated woman, maintaining the business until 1987. After Bernie's death, she found a new passion in creating and running her placemat business, Beverly Promotions, which she operated with love and dedication until 2024 when her health began to decline. Beverly was a vibrant member of her community, joining Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church in its
inception in 1981. Her unwavering faith and commitment to her church family were evident to all who knew her. She cherished the growth of her beloved church and was known for her generous spirit, often giving her time and resources to support its mission. An avid golfer, bocce ball player, and card game enthusiast, Beverly was not only active but brought joy and laughter to every game she played. Her gregarious nature and love for life made her a cherished friend in the Eaglewood community, where she remained involved until her final days.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mae Thomas; her husband, Bernie Sisco; her son, Dale Sisco; her daughter, Sharon (Sisco) Winder; her sister, Betty (Thomas) Wilson; her brother, Robert Thomas; and her daughter-in-law, Jacquie Sisco. She is survived by her son Bob Sisco and daughter-in-law Becky Hanna-Sisco, her beloved grandchildren Harry Sisco and Rebecca (Sisco) Cagni, husband Brandon Cagni.
Her memorial service will be held on April 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her extraordinary life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church's building fund in honor of Beverly's deep love for the church and its mission.
