It is with great sadness we announce that Bonnie Carter, 58, of Stuart, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday,  December 31, 2017 at home with her daughter by her side.

She spent her life helping others as a nurse, always putting her patients first. She lived a very full life even though it wasn't as long as we all hoped for. She loved being in nature and going on boating adventures. She breathed life into everything she touched, whether that was her plants or an animal in need.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Lindsay, her sisters, Jenny, Missy, and Deborah, her parents Paul and Jean, and her nieces and nephews.

She will always be loved and will remain in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the park under the *Stuart Causeway on Saturday, January 6 ^th from 12-2pm. Turn right at the Brown East Island Sign. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. Minister Terry Frizzell will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial in Bonnie's name may be made to the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center at tcwild.org.
