Bruce Anthony Beyersdorf, 55, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Tradition Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie.
Born in Menominee, Michigan, and raised in San Diego, California, Bruce has lived in Port St. Lucie for the last twenty-five years. After graduation from Mar Vista High School in Imperial Beach, California, Mr. Beyersdorf served his country honorably in the United States Army.
After his enlistment was complete Bruce married his true love Maria Antico in 1989 and the two moved to Port St. Lucie and started a family with son Michael Beyersdorf and daughter Christina being added to their loving family.
Bruce loved kids and devoted a large portion of his time coaching local football teams. He also loved to fish and ride the Harley he inherited from his father Dan Beyersdorf who passed away in April of 2000.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Dan Beyersdorf.
Survivors include his loving wife Maria Beyersdorf; his son Michael Beyersdorf; his daughter Christina Beyersdorf, all of Port. St. Lucie; his mother, Mary Thaggard and step-father, Tom Thaggard, of Waco, Texas; three sisters, Brenda Powell and husband, David of San Diego, California, Barbara Bass and husband Stephen, also of San Diego, and Beth Howard and husband, Charles, of Waco, Texas; one brother, Howard Thaggard, of San Diego; along with many other relatives and friends and co-workers.

A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, the 20th of October at 3pm at the Walton Road Baptist Church, 2001 Walton Road, Port St. Lucie, with Pastor Wayne Traverse and Chaplain Beth Howard officiating.
