Bruce A. Jenks, 88, of Stuart, FL passed away December 22, 2016 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart.
Born October 29, 1928 in Waterloo, IN he was the son of Arthur Jenks and Bessie Matson. Bruce was raised on a farm and his responsibilities helped develop his strong work ethic. He moved to Stuart in 2007, coming from Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Bruce retired as a pipefitter for Rea Magnet Wire and then owned and operated Jenks Plumbing and Heating.
His hobbies included fishing and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his son, Kevin Jenks and wife Leslie; daughters, Diane Cook and husband Bob, Debra Kimmerly and husband Fred, Nicole Sheriff and partner Dave Koval; nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Private services were held.
