Byron P. Camene, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2014. Byron was born April 18, 1925, in Lynn, MA, to Peter and Maria (Manias) Camene. In addition to his parents, Byron was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (DeMao), his first wife, Silvia (Sotos), and their daughter, Mary Camene, his sisters, Alice Christopher and Ero Kouvarides and his brothers, Lee and Johnny. Byron is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Nicholas and Karen Camene and two granddaughters as well as loving family and a host of long-time friends and his faithful dog, A.C.

Byron was in the United States Army and served in North Africa during WWII. He owned the Pines swim club in New Jersey as well as other restaurants and businesses. He often brought a smile to those he met and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
