Carl Samuel St.Philip, 83, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away at his home on May 25th, 2021. Carl was hired by Eastern Airlines and finished his career there as a Captain on the B727. His flying career culminated at Continental Airlines as a DC-10 Second Officer. By then, he had over 31,000 flying hours.

Carl always loved spending time with his family and found his greatest joy boating, fishing, and playing tennis. He was a man of faith that enjoyed attending and volunteering many hours at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Carl is the son of the late Samuel and Jennifer St.Philip. He is survived by his wife Gail, two children, Carl St.Philip Jr. (Gina) and Christianne, and four grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or charity of choice in his name
