Carmela Crane, December 20, 1930-February 08, 2026

Carmela Crane, 95, passed away peacefully on February 8. 2026 following a long, and well lived life.

Carmela married John H, Crane, III, January 24, 1954 in Orange, NJ, and together, they shared 72 years of marriage. Throughout their many years together, they built a life centered on family, and dedication to one another.

Carmela and John made their home in Long Valley and Blairstown, New Jersey where she raised their three children. In 1996, she and her husband John retired, and moved to Hobe Sound, Fl.

Carmela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, John H. Crane, III, her three children, John H. Crane, (Betsy), Carefree, AZ; Christine Salazar, Jupiter, FL; and Kevin T. Crane, (Kerry), Dripping Springs, TX;  grandchildren, Alexander, Julia, Kyle, and Caroline. She is also lovingly remembered by extended family and friends whose lives she touched over the years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nicola Arcaro and Cristina Giancola, and her five siblings, Nicola Arcaro, Antonio Arcaro, Rosina Venditti, Victoria Vacca, and Maria Vacca.

Carmela will be remembered for her deep love of family, and the many years she shared with those closest to her.
