Carol Ann Knight, 74, of Palm City, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Terrace of Hobe Sound.
Born in Knox, Pennsylvania, to Opal & James Bell on March 2, 1942. Carol is survived by her cherished husband, Donald of Palm City; their three children. Cindy Pope of Palm City, Pam Paredes of Great Cacapon, West Virginia, and Jeff Knight of Essex Junction, Vermont; one brother, Randy Bell of Fort Myers, Florida; one sister, Peggy Wells of Kaleen, Texas; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, who always called her "Mema".
Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Bell of Knox, Pennsylvania.
Carol touched many lives through her thoughtful kindness. She loved to dance and we like to think she danced her way into Heaven.
She will continually be remembered by the beautiful pictures she left us as photography was her hobby.
Carol, a rare and special person, died from complications of Alzheimer's Disease, a battle she fought for many years.
In lieu of flowers, it would honor her and her family by expressing your heartfelt feelings of sympathy by donating to Alzheimers Community Care. For information, please go to www.alzcare.org. This is a
local organization who provided special day care service for Carol.
A Service to Celebrate Her Life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida, where the family will receive friends after 2:00 pm.
