Carol Francis DelConte of Hobe Sound, Florida.

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, Carol, loving wife, and mother of three children passed away at home at the age of 89.  She was born March 10, 1933, to Edward and Ida Schmelz in Menlo Park, NJ.  A jersey girl at heart, she grew up in Garwood, moved to Colonia in 1963 and then moved to Florida in 1980.  She married Emil DelConte on April 20, 1951, and raised three children, Carolann, Bonnie and Anthony.  Carol was very thoughtful and caring to everyone, especially her family.  She would do anything for her family. Anyone that met her, like her.  She will be sorely missed.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ida; sisters, Lillian, Corinne and Joan; husband, Emil and son Anthony.  She is survived by her daughters Bonnie DelConte and Carolann DelConte-Dominguez; five grandchildren, Janine Michaud, Craig Michaud (wife, Jennifer), Chris Slonaker (wife, Nicole), Michael Dominguez, Anthony DelConte II; three great-grandchildren, Dominic and Lorenzo Michaud, and Davin Slonaker.  A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
