Carole L. Stone, age 90 of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House in Stuart, FL. Carole was born July 13, 1922 in Montrose, PA, daughter of the late Morris and Cecilia (Stone) Catlin. Carole retired to Florida in 1976, moving to the area from Binghamton, NY. She was a longtime member of the American Business Women's Association. Surviving are her daughter Sharon Mclain of Stuart, FL; granddaughter, Kelly Barrett of Palm City, FL; grandson, Joseph Barrett of Port St. Lucie, FL; great grandkids, Kelly and Cody Barrett. Per her wishes, cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997). Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
