Carolyn R. North's Obituary
Carolyn R. North, 79, of Stuart, Florida, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Martin Memorial Hospital, South, in Stuart.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she had been a resident of Stuart, since 2002, coming from Saint Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
Carolyn was a Registered Nurse, receiving her Nursing Degree from the University of Miami, and prior to her retirement, was a member of the Nursing Staff of Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
An avid sailor, she and her longtime companion lived on and sailed their 42 foot boat thruout the Caribbean.
Carolyn loved animals and was a faithful volunteer at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast for more then nine years.
She is survived by her longtime companion and shipmate, Thomas M. Del Quadri, of Stuart.
Services and scattering will be at the convenience of family in her beloved Caribbean Sea paradise.
