Carrie D. Evans, 61 of Jensen Beach, FL went to her heavenly home peacefully on December 2, 2018.  She loved the Lord and her church family.  Her smile always drew people to her and then the grin to keep us straight.  She will be greatly missed.

Carrie leaves behind her mother, Edna Evans of San Diego, CA; siblings: Valine (Bob) Tedder of Mountain Home, AR; Linda Evans of Escondido, CA.  Also nephews and nieces, Robert (Victoria) Crider, Bobby (Cathy) Tedder, Beth Gosha.  Along with a host of uncles, aunts, great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Evans and grandparents.

Carrie grew up in San Diego County, CA.  After graduating she worked as a high voltage electrician both in California, then in Washington.  But her passion was flying, so she then went on to become a pilot while living in Washington.  She moved to Florida where she crewed with charter companies the last being Fairwinds Charter.  Carrie was also a very dedicated flight instructor.  She loved her students and pushed them to succeed.

Her hobbies were many, biking, paddle boarding, photography, stained glass and water sports of all kinds.

The loves of her life were Dave (predeceased fiancé) and her fur babies:  Casey, Cheyenne, Harra, Sasha and Freckles.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 7 PM at TC3/Treasure Coast Community Church, 20 NE Dixie Highway, Stuart, FL 34994.

Memorial donations may be made to Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, Treasure Coast Hospice (for Hospice Houses) or TC3 Church.
