Catherine D. Murray, age 53 of Stuart, FL passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House. Catherine was born December 1, 1959 in Florence, SC, daughter of late Harbin and Barbara (Anderson) Murray. After moving to Stuart, FL in 1977 from Atlanta, she worked as a waitress at Conchy Joe's, Shrimpers, Charlie's Flashback and Cowboy's. She also worked as a Pediatric Dental Assistant for 8.5 years. Catherine loved the beaches, gardening and had a daily habit of thrift store shopping and was always devoted to her family. Surviving are her daughters, Nicole (Andrew) Brockmeyer of The Acreage Lox, FL and Savannah Glowacki of Stuart, FL; sister, Cindy (Mike) Stephens of Texas; brother, Randy (Judy) Murray of Stuart, FL; niece, Kimberlee. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Murray. Per her wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home (950 SE Monterey Rd; Stuart, FL 34994).
