Obituary

It's with a heavy broken heart to inform you that Cecelia Geraldine "Geri" LoZito-Biles has passed. Mom received her angel wings on November 19, 2021, after a long battle with COPD. She was 84 years young

It would be wrong to say that Mom lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have given up. She continued to fight and stay strong.

Mom was a lovable, strong  incredible Wife, Mother, Nanny & Friend - Mom always appreciated the simple things in life like a simple phone call would make her day. But mostly she loved her family especially her grandchildren Felicia, Christina and Greg. She was their biggest cheerleader.
Mom always brought the life to the party.  She enjoyed life to the fullest.  Who could forget her celebrating her "birthday month", and her "Little Christmas Parties" (which weren't that little!) She loved her Maryland blue crabs, singing and dancing -  especially the jitterbug. She also became quite a good golfer with her pink golf bag, butterfly golf balls and her outfits that we're always on point.
Mom made sure she looked her best at all times (whether she had plans or not). She enjoyed being pampered which of course was well deserved. She enjoyed getting her hair done weekly, manicure, pedicure every other week,  and an occasional massage.

Eventually the disease was affecting mommies lungs in which the golfing and dancing took a little backseat. Mom being the fighter she is refused to let it affect her social life, she just focused on other activities . Prior to covid Mom stayed busy. On Tuesdays she enjoyed her card games, and Thursdays her Mah Jongg. And of course Mom loved her weekends -  especially when her football was on.

I'm very grateful for the time we spent together. Most of all I will miss our "coffee time" - Every morning when Mom woke up she would say "coffee time" which was my cue  to get her morning started. Google would play some music, mostly Italian and Mom would drink her coffee and enjoy the view outside, while I would often entertain her with a song and a dance to start our day. My mornings will never be the same with out Mommy.  God has you in his arms and I will always have you in my heart. Until we meet again.

I Love you and miss you so very much, your one and only little G-R-I-L.

Please join me in sending Mom off properly by "Celebrating her Life" with a gathering at Country Club Estates at the Lakeview Grille, on Wednesday, December 1st, from 2:00 to 5:00pm for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Please text RSVP by 11/29/21 to 443-829-9920 .
