Charles "Buddy" Edward Decker, 76 of Stuart, Florida passed away March 10, 2018 at home with his family with him.

Born January 17, 1942 in Torrington, Connecticut, he was the son of Harold and Anne Elizabeth Decker.

Buddy served in the United States Army for three years from 1961 to 1964.

By trade he was a construction contractor.

Buddy also enjoyed using his work talents making bird houses.

He is survived by his sons, Steve (Barbara) Decker and Mike Decker of Stuart; grandchildren, Dawn, Jolene, Stephen, Michael; nine great grandchildren and sister, Madge Anne Wright.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Inez Decker.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in Buddy's name be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 3 PM to 5 PM with a Service of Remembrance to be held at 4 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home in Stuart.
